We're going on a road trip May 13-14 to Camp Copass, Located 60 miles North of Forney near Denton, TX. The first session begins at 7:30pm on Friday evening, and we will wrap up and head for home around 2:00pm.

The 2nd Annual Taste of Christmas was great this year! We hope that you were able to make it and that you had a great time shopping and fellowshipping with others.
As we sang Christmas carols, there was a little decorating competition going on. And they did a great job!! Each women was given a box of Christmas items (all from the dollar store) plus some of their must-have items from home and they were challenged to decorate their space.
The vendors donated items and we gave them away as door prizes!
All of the ladies decorating challenges turned out great! It was very impressive! Vickie decorated a mantle.

Thanks to all the vendors and everyone who helped with Taste of Christmas. It was a great time!

First Monday Women’s Ministry
Hey Ladies! Please join us for a sweet night of worship on January 6th at c|Life, Forney Campus! We are calling it Intimacy Night because God, in His sovereignty and glory, meets us in our unfaithfulness with love and tenderness. He is intimately acquainted with each of His children and desires our undivided devotion to Him. There will be dancing, painting, singing, praying and hopefully much learning all for the glory of Jesus Christ. This night will be completely free, so there is no excuse not to bring lots of friends! We will begin at 7:30pm and end at 9:00pm....Hope to see you there!!!

Last night kicked of the beginning of First Monday for the year! The theme for the year is Road Trip – “laugh together, share together - the incredible journey.”
Our speaker was Tammy Griffin. She talked to us about the journey that God has taken her on throughout her life. So many women were inspired and encouraged by her story. Thank you Tammy!

Connecting Women to God and One another
That is the vision of the women’s ministry. We will meet as a large group 3 times this year (last night, December – Taste of Christmas, and February) then we will wrap up the year in May with a women’s retreat!
To help us connect with one another we are going to start Grace groups! Here is what they are all about…
- A small group of women, assigned randomly, who meet once a month to get to know each other better in a relaxed setting.
Growing relationships – connecting with women in a smaller setting and building new relationships.
Reaching out – getting out of comfort zones and meeting new people. Reaching out to our community (volunteering to serve in the community as a group).
Accountability – the group will provide spiritual accountability. “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” – Proverbs 27:17
Connection – It’s all about connecting to God and one another.
Encouragement – The bible tells us to “encourage one another and build each other up.” Be encouragers to each other!
A grace group leader will be contacting you over the next few weeks. If you are interested in being a grace group leader and you want to join a grace group you can email us at: women@clifec.com. We are excited about getting started!
